UP Sainik Schools are run by the UP Sainik Schools Society with the Chief Minister, Uar Pradesh as its Chairperson and is fully financed by the state government. Local board of administraon (LBA) with the Commissioner, respecve Division, as its Chairman and Principal of the school as the Secretary, is respon- sible for its efficient funconing on day to day basis. The UP Sainik Schools were set up to provide highly subsidized quality educaon to selected students of UP with the help of military officers and to make it funconal as a nursery and feeder instuon for the N.D.A. AIM OF THE SCHOOLS UNDER THIS SOCIETY Main aim of the school is to prepare the cadets academically, physically & mentally for entry into the commissioned ranks of the Defence Services through the Naonal Defence Academy
